# Product Designer - Dashboard
## About Stripe
Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world's largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.
## About the team
The Product Design team is made up of several groups that define, create, and deliver all user-facing aspects of the Stripe brand and product. Product Designers are strategic partners to Engineering and Product Management within their product area. In close collaboration with product teams, they shape user experiences, then translate them into high-quality designs that can be tested, shipped, and refined. Designers are responsible for building elegant, functional products that users love—and want to tell others about.
The Dashboard team ensures Stripe works seamlessly for every merchant—regardless of how their business is structured or which products they use. Our goal is to make Stripe feel like it was built just for them.
## What you'll do
In this role, you will help build and enhance the Stripe Dashboard by designing, concepting, and prototyping high-quality core dashboard and product experiences.
### Responsibilities
• Develop a deep understanding of the Stripe ecosystem, users, and UI to inform product direction
• Deliver high-quality, user-centered designs that evolve core surfaces and elevate the overall user experience
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, engineers, user researchers, and content designers to shape strategy and execution
• Share work regularly in design reviews and actively contribute to a strong culture of feedback and iteration
## Who you are
We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.
### Minimum requirements
• 4+ years relevant design experience
• A portfolio showcasing strong design skills with high-quality, well-crafted UI experiences
• Experience partnering closely with product, engineering, and other cross-functional teams to drive product direction
• Demonstrated ability to work horizontally across product verticals and collaborate upwards with team and company leadership
• Demonstrated ability to wrangle lots of competing priorities, points of view, as well as user and business needs to come up with a solution
### Preferred qualifications
• Experience designing for a B2B or fintech product
## Work Expectations
Office-assigned Stripes in most of our locations are currently expected to spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This expectation may vary depending on role, team and location. For example, Stripes in Stripe Delivery Center roles in Mexico City, Mexico, Bengaluru, India, and Dublin, Ireland work 100% from the office. Also, some teams have greater in-office attendance requirements, to appropriately support our users and workflows, which the hiring manager will discuss. This approach helps strike a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility when possible.
## Compensation and Benefits
The annual US base salary range for this role is $146,600 - $219,800. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate's experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
Additional benefits for this role may include: equity, company bonus; 401(k) plan; medical, dental, and vision benefits; and wellness stipends.
