## Job Description
We are seeking a dependable Machine Operator to play a vital role in our manufacturing process. In this active role, you will own your equipment's performance, ensuring high-quality production and strict SOP adherence. The ideal candidate brings mechanical curiosity, close attention to detail, and a strong drive for team accountability.
### Shift & Compensation
- Pay Rate: $22.47/hr plus $2/hr shift differential
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Monday - Friday
- 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM, Monday - Friday
### What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities):
- Operate, set up, and maintain production equipment to meet schedules.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and monitor gauges/meters to verify quality.
- Conduct inspections using measuring tools and record accurate data logs.
- Investigate equipment malfunctions to uncover root causes rather than applying "band-aid" fixes.
- Collaborate across the team, stepping outside your duties to support site health and safety.
- Engage in cross-training on multiple assets to foster continuous improvement.
## Qualifications
### What You Bring (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma/GED OR 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and high attention to detail.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk up to 80% of a shift in varying temperatures.
- Ability to obtain a Lift Truck Operator's license.
- Adaptability to work overtime or shift priorities with little notice.
