**Shift:** Rotating Day & Night Shifts (5:50 AM – 6:00 PM / 5:50 PM – 6:00 AM)

**Pay:** $25.09/hr + $2.00/hr shift differential

## Position Overview

Join Avery Dennison as a Coating Machine Operator. We are seeking a mechanically curious, results-driven professional to take ownership of our high-speed manufacturing lines. In this role, you will safely set up, operate, and maintain production equipment while driving quality control and operational excellence. ## Core Responsibilities

- **Machine Operation:** Safely set up, run, and change over complex coating machinery, monitors, and winding consoles.
- **Troubleshooting:** Use mechanical aptitude and curiosity to diagnose root causes of equipment malfunctions early, completing minor repairs to reduce downtime.
- **Quality Control:** Follow strict SOP guidelines and use precision measuring tools to conduct quality inspections, ensuring products meet specifications.
- **Process Monitoring:** Read digital gauges, meters, and flow ratios to adjust temperatures and pressures for continuous, optimal flow.
- **Team Collaboration:** Maintain accurate digital logs while championing a "Team Before Self" environment to meet safe production goals.

## Qualifications

- High School Diploma/GED OR 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and analytical troubleshooting skills.
- **Digital Fluency:** Comfortable navigating computer applications for data entry and production tracking.
- **Physical Demands:** Ability to stand/walk up to 80% of a shift; lift up to 50 lbs; and bend, reach, or squat frequently.
- Flexibility to work overtime and adapt to shifting priorities.
