Benefits BA contract opportunity focused on benefits modelling and business case development
Tō kamupene hou | Your new company This organisation is undertaking a significant period of transformation, with several strategic initiatives underway to modernise services, improve operational efficiency and prepare for future technology investment. As part of this journey, a key programme is progressing through the business case phase and requires specialist support to strengthen its benefits framework and investment case. Tō tūranga hou | Your new role Working closely with subject matter experts and programme stakeholders, you will be responsible for validating and refining an existing benefits model, ensuring projected outcomes are robust, measurable and aligned to business objectives. Key responsibilities will include:
Validating existing quantified benefits and assumptions through stakeholder engagement.
Assessing productivity improvements, process simplification opportunities and potential efficiency gains.
Updating benefits models and associated business case documentation.
Refining and developing benefits profiles across both financial and non-financial outcomes.
Establishing a foundational benefit tracking framework for future use.
Developing an initial Benefits Realisation Plan to support ongoing programme delivery and reporting. This is an initial 3–4 month contract opportunity with a strong likelihood of being highly visible across the programme.

Proven experience as a Benefits BA, Business Analyst or Benefits Realisation Specialist within large-scale programmes.
Strong expertise in benefits modelling, business case development and benefits management frameworks.
Experience quantifying business value, productivity gains and operational efficiencies.
Ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders and subject matter experts.
Experience developing benefits tracking approaches and benefits realisation plans.
Excellent analytical, facilitation and documentation skills.
Public sector or large enterprise programme experience will be highly regarded.
