Reporting into senior leadership, this is a highly visible and strategic role where you will act as a trusted business partner across operations, manufacturing, and supply chain functions. Leading a small finance team, you will provide commercial insight, financial stewardship, and leadership to help drive profitability, operational performance, and long-term business growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning cycle, delivering meaningful financial insights to support business objectives.
- Collaborate closely with operational leaders to identify opportunities for growth, efficiency, and improved financial performance.
- Provide commercial decision support through analysis of pricing strategies, profitability, margins, and investment opportunities.
- Monitor and optimise cash flow, helping to drive informed business decisions and long-term value creation.
- Contribute to capital investment initiatives and continuous improvement projects across the business.
- Ensure robust financial controls, accurate reporting, and compliance with internal and external requirements.
- Assist with year-end financial reporting, statutory obligations, and external audit processes.
Ngā uara me ngā pūkenga e angitu ai koe | What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this position, you'll bring:
- CA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Previous success partnering with manufacturing, FMCG, industrial, supply chain, or operational stakeholders.
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and commercial analysis capability.
- Sound technical accounting knowledge and experience supporting reporting and compliance requirements.
- Proven people leadership experience with a passion for coaching and developing others.
- Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to challenge stakeholders and drive outcomes.
