• Specific portfolio / segment management with strategic relevance to the business team / business unit

• Derives and realizes future road map and generation planning within segment

• Consolidates, specifies and prioritizes user insights and market requirements into product segment vision as well as technology and platform direction

• Manages and drives highly innovative, complex technical platforms and strategically essential projects

• Delivers speed in realizing product segment vision by efficiently guiding product development teams while adhering to quality and process requirements

• Scouting new business/technical solutions within product/segment/application area

• Drives overall research and concept screeners for the specific product segment

• Optimizes resources and increases efficiency during product development projects within product segment

• Creates synergies across key stakeholders to realize product/platform/technology breakthrough

• Takes ownership of the overall economic success of the product segment

• Facilitates cross business team / business unit alignment of relevant trades, products and technical solutions

• Responsible for key process implementation and roll-out with other business team members, shares knowledge and guides product managers in his product segment
