Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Duty Manager to join our Front Office leadership team on a part-time basis.
This hands-on role is perfect for a hospitality professional who enjoys being visible on the floor, creating exceptional guest experiences and supporting smooth hotel operations. As a key leader on shift, you will oversee Front Office activities, support the team and ensure every guest receives personalised and memorable service.
Working closely with all departments, you will lead by example, confidently manage guest interactions and help create a positive and welcoming environment for both guests and team members.
In this role, you will:
• Lead Front Office operations and act as the key leader on shift.
• Support, coach and motivate the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Create genuine connections with guests and ensure memorable stays.
• Manage guest feedback and service recovery with confidence and care.
• Support reservations accuracy and assist with maximising hotel revenue opportunities.
• Coordinate with all hotel departments to ensure seamless daily operations.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative and high-performing team culture.
• Assist with rostering, planning and operational requirements.
• Be hands-on and flexible, supporting the wider hotel team when required.

Qualifications
We’d love to hear from you if you:
• Have 2–4 years’ experience in hotel operations, with previous leadership or supervisory experience.
• Have a genuine passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences.
• Are confident communicating with guests and team members at all levels.
• Stay calm, adaptable and solution-focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Have working knowledge of hotel PMS systems, with Opera Cloud experience highly regarded.
• Enjoy being hands-on and leading from the front.
• Are available to work a part-time rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
