Job Description
The Finance Controller will manage the General Accountants team in Bangalore and will be responsible for processing clear reconciliations and a group of reports on behalf of multiple entities around the group in multiple regions. This is an integral role and requires accurate execution, and a strong attention to detail and a good understanding of the figures.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Manage the team to address all performance issues
• Liaise with Regional SSC contacts as a key point of contact
• Perform reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Develop, Produce and review various business reports
• Support month end closing · Participate in process improvement activities
• Review Inter-company reconciliations and work with GSSC to generate missing postings
• Take ownership of various balance sheet reconciliations
• Participating in P&L Analytics, Forecasting, Budgeting and providing the walk to Senior finance leadership
Essential:
• Qualified Accountant
• Management experience
• Attention to detail
• Strong excel and data handling skills
• Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Familiar with Oracle ERP system
• Experience of working to deadlines
• Ability to challenge the numbers and explain variances
Qualifications
• Must Have- CA Qualified [Chartered Accountant] or
• MBA-Finance & Accounts from Tier 1 Institutes
• Desirable: · French language skills if possible
