Shift Engineer – Property Management

Position: Shift Engineer – Property Management Department: Engineering / Facilities Reporting To: Facility Manager / Engineering Manager Experience: 2 to 5 years (minimum 5 years). Key Responsibilities: * Manage day-to-day engineering operations of the property during the assigned shift. * Monitor and operate electrical, HVAC, DG, UPS, BMS, fire-fighting, plumbing and other MEP systems. * Conduct regular equipment rounds, record parameters and identify abnormalities. * Attend and resolve breakdowns; coordinate with specialist/AMC vendors when required. * Ensure preventive maintenance is carried out as per schedule. * Supervise technicians and coordinate with other facility teams. * Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety procedures and statutory requirements. * Maintain shift logbooks, equipment readings, breakdown reports and proper shift handovers. * Respond effectively to emergencies and escalate critical issues to the Facility/Property Manager. * Required Skills * Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/Mechanical or relevant engineering discipline. * 2–5 years’ experience in property/facility management or building operations. * Good knowledge of MEP systems, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance. Good communication, coordination and team-handling skills.
