About the Role
The Sales Executive – Medical Devices & Home Healthcare will be responsible for driving sales and business development for medical equipment, medical instruments, and home healthcare products.
The role involves regular interaction with customers, dealers, distributors, healthcare professionals, and other relevant stakeholders to understand market requirements and develop new business opportunities.
The candidate will also be responsible for product demonstrations, installation assistance, basic service support, customer relationship management, and post-sales follow-up.
This position is ideal for candidates who want to build a career in medical device sales, healthcare equipment sales, technical sales, and home healthcare business development.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Development
- Conduct regular visits to existing and prospective customers.
- Understand customer requirements and identify suitable medical and healthcare products.
- Develop new customer accounts and business opportunities.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Generate leads through field visits, references, dealers and market development activities.
- Follow up on enquiries, quotations and sales opportunities.
- Achieve assigned sales and revenue targets.
2. Dealer & Distributor Development
- Identify and develop new dealers and channel partners.
- Maintain relationships with existing dealers and distributors.
- Conduct regular dealer visits to understand market requirements.
- Support dealers in generating new business.
- Expand product reach across assigned territories.
- Coordinate with channel partners for sales enquiries, demonstrations and customer requirements.
3. Medical Equipment & Home Healthcare Sales
- Promote and sell medical instruments, medical devices and home healthcare equipment.
- Understand customer applications and recommend appropriate products.
- Explain product features, specifications, benefits and usage.
- Identify opportunities in the healthcare and home healthcare market.
- Build a strong sales pipeline across the assigned territory.
4. Product Demonstration
- Conduct product demonstrations for customers and dealers.
- Explain product operation, features and benefits.
- Understand customer requirements before demonstrations.
- Coordinate with technical/service teams wherever required.
- Assist customers in understanding the correct application and usage of products.
5. Pre-Sales & Post-Sales Support
- Provide basic pre-sales product information and application support.
- Assist customers during product installation.
- Coordinate with technical/service teams for installation and service requirements.
- Provide basic service support wherever applicable.
- Follow up with customers after installation and purchase.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
6. Market Development
- Conduct market research within the assigned territory.
- Identify potential customers, dealers and business segments.
- Monitor competitor products and market activities.
- Collect customer feedback and communicate market requirements to management.
- Identify opportunities to increase product penetration in Tamil Nadu and South India.

Educational Qualification
Graduation in Any Field
Candidates with a technical, healthcare, life sciences, pharmacy or related educational background may be preferred depending on relevant sales experience.

Location & Travel Requirements
The position is based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
The candidate will be required to travel frequently across Tamil Nadu and other parts of South India for:
