Customer Service and Warehouse Operations

Reporting to the Site Operations Lead we are looking for a Customer Service & Warehouse Support to join our Nelson team and be the friendly, knowledgeable face our customers rely on.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve customers at the counter with professionalism and care.
- Deliver exceptional customer service via phone and email.
- Manage inbound and outbound calls, ensuring timely responses to customer inquiries.
- Prepare and follow up on quotations within set timeframes.
- Provide technical product information and support.
- Participate in sales promotions and assist with branch administration.
- Assist with picking, packing, checking and dispatching orders with excellent customer service and standards.
- Assist with inventory management including inwards goods, cycle counts etc
- Provide support for general site administration and facility management
What we are looking for:
- Minimum 3 years’ customer service experience, ideally in engineering or industrial businesses
- Previous warehouse or product handling experience.
- A strong desire to learn, grow, and take ownership of your work.
- A hands-on, can-do attitude with a willingness to tackle various tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and a well-presented, professional manner.
- The ability to work proactively, using initiative while knowing when to seek support
- Desire to always improve the quality of the service given by yourself with a thirst for knowledge
- Computer savvy, with experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) or similar ERP/CRM systems
- A full driver’s license, preferably with F endorsement, and a forklift licence is essential.
