Labourer

Location: Angle Park
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm
Pay Rate: $33.58 per hour
Start: ASAP

Are you someone who enjoys being active, working outdoors and being part of a friendly team? We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join a well-known not-for-profit organisation, helping collect donated goods and make a positive difference in the community.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, meeting new people and being out and about rather than stuck in a warehouse all day!

What's involved?

• Assisting the truck driver with collecting donated goods from homes and businesses.
• Loading and unloading furniture, clothing, toys and other donated items.
• Providing friendly and helpful customer service to donors.
• Helping secure loads and ensuring goods are transported safely.
• Completing collection paperwork when required.
• Assisting with general warehouse duties when needed.

What we're looking for

• Someone physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
• A positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work well within a team.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on role that involves lifting and carrying items.
• Previous offsider, removalist, furniture delivery or labouring experience is an advantage, but not essential.

What's in it for you?

• Monday to Friday hours - enjoy your weekends off!
• $33.58 per hour.
• Work with a friendly and supportive team.
• Stay active throughout the day and enjoy variety in your work.
• Meet people from all walks of life.
• Make a genuine difference by helping support the local community.

If you enjoy physical work, like being part of a team and want a role where your efforts contribute to something meaningful, we'd love to hear from you!
