COMPANY OVERVIEW Deepgram is the leading platform underpinning the emerging trillion-dollar Voice AI economy, providing real-time APIs for speech-to-text (STT), text-to-speech (TTS), and building production-grade voice agents at scale. More than 200,000 developers and 1,300+ organizations build voice offerings that are ‘Powered by Deepgram’, including Twilio, Cloudflare, Sierra, Decagon, Vapi, Daily, Cresta, Granola, and Jack in the Box. Deepgram’s voice-native foundation models are accessed through cloud APIs or as self-hosted and on-premises software, with unmatched accuracy, low latency, and cost efficiency. Backed by a recent Series C led by leading global investors and strategic partners, Deepgram has processed over 50,000 years of audio and transcribed more than 1 trillion words. There is no organization in the world that understands voice better than Deepgram. COMPANY OPERATING RHYTHM At Deepgram, we expect an AI-first mindset—AI use and comfort aren’t optional, they’re core to how we operate, innovate, and measure performance. Every team member who works at Deepgram is expected to actively use and experiment with advanced AI tools, and even build your own into your everyday work. We measure how effectively AI is applied to deliver results, and consistent, creative use of the latest AI capabilities is key to success here. Candidates should be comfortable adopting new models and modes quickly, integrating AI into their workflows, and continuously pushing the boundaries of what these technologies can do. Additionally, we move at the pace of AI. Change is rapid, and you can expect your day-to-day work to evolve just as quickly. This may not be the right role if you’re not excited to experiment, adapt, think on your feet, and learn constantly, or if you’re seeking something highly prescriptive with a traditional 9-to-5. TEAM OVERVIEW Events and field marketing are Deepgram's largest demand generation investment, and this role owns North America. Reporting to the Director of Demand Gen, you'll run 20+ trade shows and conferences each year, partner co-hosted programs, and field programs with Sales, splitting your time between flagship brand moments and programs that move target accounts. You'll help set event strategy with marketing leadership and work closely with regional sales leaders, Product Marketing, alliances, Demand Generation, SDRs, and Marketing Operations. The role starts as a senior individual contributor, with room to grow a team. KEY GOALS - Run the North America trade show and sponsorship portfolio end to end, from turnkey kiosks to flagship presences at AWS re:Invent and Dreamforce, including budget, MDF and partner co-op funding, contracts, and vendors. - Help set event strategy, the annual plan, and the calendar for third-party and hosted events with marketing leadership, backed by data on budget, investment tiering, and portfolio mix. - Equip Sales, alliances, and Demand Generation before and after marquee events so they invite the right accounts and turn attendance into pipeline, expansion, and retention. - Keep every event on product messaging and the voice of the customer, timed to product launches and sales priorities. - Design and run field programs with regional sales leaders, such as executive dinners, roadshows, customer events, and account-based plays against named target accounts. - Co-host events with hyperscaler, CCaaS, and voice AI partners like AWS, Twilio, Five9, and NVIDIA, so Deepgram shows up where their customers already are. - Concept and deliver brand activations at competitor-heavy shows, from stadium takeovers to interactive demos and hosted moments. - Close the loop on every program with same-day lead logging, a fast-follow SLA with Sales, clean SDR routing, and a standard post-event scorecard tied to pipeline and cost per opportunity. - Grow Deepgram Speak as a first-party event series and support community programming in our SF and NYC offices. MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & CAPABILITIES - Has run flagship presences at large-scale shows (re:Invent, Dreamforce, or similar) end to end: contracting, booth, logistics, staffing, speakers, and lead capture. - Owns both trade shows and field programs hands-on, and treats regional sales leaders as core partners. - Shapes an annual event plan, not only executes one: makes tiering and portfolio calls with data and can explain what to cut and why. - Ties event and field activity to sourced and influenced pipeline in Salesforce, working with Marketing Ops on campaign setup, attribution, and lead routing. - Analyzes funnel metrics and event ROI, and presents clear recommendations to executive and sales leadership. - Manages program budgets, negotiates vendor contracts, and holds agencies to quality and timelines. - Takes an original creative concept from sketch to a fully produced experience. - Operates AI-native: builds AI and automation workflows that cut manual work in planning, logistics, comms, and reporting, and turns them into playbooks others adopt. - Flags risks and opportunities early and keeps many stakeholders aligned through clear communication. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE-TO-HAVE, NOT REQUIRED) - Typically ~7–10 years in B2B events and/or field marketing, or equivalent demonstrated experience. - Managed a 7-figure annual program budget. - Co-marketed events with hyperscalers (AWS especially) or channel partners, including MDF management. - Hands-on with modern event tech: registration platforms, lead retrieval, meeting booking tools, mobile event apps, and CRM/MAP integrations. - Background at AI, developer tools, API, or infrastructure companies, or familiarity with CX/contact center, healthcare, or fintech buyer communities. OUR VALUES - Be You — bring your whole self and a different perspective; diverse viewpoints make our products better. - Be Curious — challenge the status quo, keep learning, and ask 'how might we?' instead of accepting limits. - Grow Together — push each other to do great work, treat feedback as a gift, and leave the drama out. - Do the Right Thing — act with integrity and candor, assume best intent, choose ethics over expediency. - Think Smart. Act Fast. — weigh the high-leverage options, decide, and move; no analysis paralysis. - Put the Customer First — listen with empathy, understand their goals, and let their success drive ours. We know the confidence gap and imposter syndrome can get in the way of meeting great candidates — so please don't hesitate to apply. We'd love to hear from you. As you grow in the role, you’ll take on a bigger part in planning and strategic discussions for in-region activity. • Own the operational side: manage budgets, timelines, and vendors and agencies, from vendor PR paperwork and POs through to invoices, while keeping trackers current and working with procurement and finance to deliver on time and within budget. • Work jointly with Marketing Operations on campaign setup, lead and attendee uploads, and Salesforce tracking, so leads reach Sales promptly. • Work with the local field marketing owners across the various programs and ABM activations across India, and support scaled campaigns across APMEA. • Manage vendors, agencies, event logistics and swag, evaluating third-party event opportunities and making every dollar count. • Work with brand, content and design teams to deliver assets on time and on brand. • Build reports and analysis of campaign performance, spot trends, and turn learnings into clear recommendations for Sales and Marketing on what to repeat, fix or stop. • Experiment with AI tools to automate reporting, tracking and follow-ups, and to scale campaign reach. Qualifications • 4-7 years in B2B SaaS or enterprise tech marketing, with experience running field programs, events and webinars end-to-end. You’ve run the show, not just supported it. • Strong business acumen: you connect programs to pipeline and business priorities, think big, and make smart trade-offs on budget and investment. • Solid operational foundations: experience with budgets, vendors, agencies, procurement, POs and invoicing, and project tracking, and you know what it takes to set a program up to execute well. • A self-starter with a strong bias for action, who manages multiple fast-moving priorities independently without losing sight of the details. • Data confidence and Salesforce (or similar CRM) fluency. You understand what the data means and use it to improve campaigns. • Experience working across Sales, Marketing Operations, procurement, finance, and brand, content and design teams. • A sales-centric mindset and genuine interest in how sales teams work and win. • Curiosity about ABM and AI tools, and comfort using them to work smarter. • Comfortable supporting programs across multiple markets and time zones. • Fluent English and clear communication. • Willingness to travel when needed Additional Information At Freshworks, we have fostered an environment that enables everyone to find their true potential, purpose, and passion, welcoming colleagues of all backgrounds, genders, sexual orientations, religions, and ethnicities. We are committed to providing equal opportunity and believe that diversity in the workplace creates a more vibrant, richer environment that boosts the goals of our employees, communities, and business. North America Remote3d ago
At Linear, we're building the product development system for teams and agents. AI is fundamentally changing how software gets built, and we’re shaping the tools this new era requires. Founded in 2019, Linear has become the platform of choice for more than 40,000 companies (including OpenAI, Coinbase, and Ramp) to plan, build, and ship their products. Today, our team is distributed across North America, Europe, and Australia, and we’re continuing to grow internationally. What unites us is relentless focus, fast execution, and a deep care for software craftsmanship. Role Overview Field marketing at Linear is just getting started. Its job is to put us in front of the right people in the right room: executive dinners, conferences, partner events, and programs built with our Customer team around named accounts. We're hiring our first Field Marketing Manager to take that motion from strategy to execution. You'll own the executive dinner calendar across cities, decide which third-party events and partner programs are worth our time, and build the invitations and follow-up that help our sellers turn a good evening into a real conversation. This is a hands-on role. You'll tap your venue and vendor network, build the run of show for each program, and be on site to run it. Location & work mode Linear is a remote-first company, with optional co-working offices in San Francisco, New York, and London. This role is open to candidates based in the United States, with San Francisco or New York preferred. You can work from anywhere within the US. We value deep focus and async collaboration, with intentional moments to connect in person through team off-sites, optional co-working, and occasional travel. This role involves frequent travel for events, including evenings. What you’ll do - Own the executive dinner calendar across cities: pick the city, the venue, the date, and the theme for each dinner - Build each guest list with our Customer team, equip sellers with invitation sequences, and track RSVPs so every seat goes to someone worth having there - Manage venues and vendors, negotiate menus and minimums, and keep per-dinner spend, contracts, and travel logistics within budget - Brief our hosts and executives on who's attending and what we want to learn, be on site to run the night, and hand follow-ups to Sales afterward - Evaluate conferences and sponsorship offers by audience quality, account coverage, and expected return, then plan how we show up: booth or no booth, side dinners, customer meetings, and speaking slots - Co-host dinners, workshops, and meetups with partners, and agree up front on guest lists, costs, and who follows up - Sit with Sales each quarter to pick target accounts, build lightweight formats an AE can request for a key account, and report on attendance, meetings held, pipeline influenced, and feedback from attendees and account owners What we’re looking for - 3+ years in field marketing, event marketing, or B2B events, ideally at a software company. Experience in developer tools, SaaS, or another technical product is a plus - A track record of running dinners, roundtables, or other small-format events end to end, plus experience planning around conferences: sponsorships, side events, and customer meetings - Experience working next to Sales. You know how to build a target account list, get an AE to care about an event, and tell them afterward what happened - Strong project management. You can run several cities and events at once without dropping details - Comfort with budgets, vendor contracts, and a spreadsheet. What you’ll do • Own the executive dinner calendar across cities: pick the city, the venue, the date, and the theme for each dinner • Build each guest list with our Customer team, equip sellers with invitation sequences, and track RSVPs so every seat goes to someone worth having there • Manage venues and vendors, negotiate menus and minimums, and keep per-dinner spend, contracts, and travel logistics within budget • Brief our hosts and executives on who's attending and what we want to learn, be on site to run the night, and hand follow-ups to Sales afterward • Evaluate conferences and sponsorship offers by audience quality, account coverage, and expected return, then plan how we show up: booth or no booth, side dinners, customer meetings, and speaking slots • Co-host dinners, workshops, and meetups with partners, and agree up front on guest lists, costs, and who follows up • Sit with Sales each quarter to pick target accounts, build lightweight formats an AE can request for a key account, and report on attendance, meetings held, pipeline influenced, and feedback from attendees and account owners What we’re looking for • 3+ years in field marketing, event marketing, or B2B events, ideally at a software company. Experience in developer tools, SaaS, or another technical product is a plus • A track record of running dinners, roundtables, or other small-format events end to end, plus experience planning around conferences: sponsorships, side events, and customer meetings • Experience working next to Sales. You know how to build a target account list, get an AE to care about an event, and tell them afterward what happened • Strong project management. You can run several cities and events at once without dropping details • Comfort with budgets, vendor contracts, and a spreadsheet. Hands-on time with HubSpot and event attribution is a plus • Clear writing and an easy way with senior guests, hosts, and partners. Experience marketing to engineering and product leaders is a bonus • Experience building an event series from the ground up, including a playbook someone else could run • Willingness to travel often, including evenings What we offer We're a small, focused team that cares deeply about the quality of our work and the people we do it with. Here's what you can expect: • Competitive salary and equity • Employee-friendly equity terms including early exercise in the US and extended exercise windows • Daily meal and coffee stipend on every workday • Paid co-working space or desk • Health coverage (based on country requirements) • 5 weeks paid vacation, plus local statutory holidays • 4 months paid parental leave • Paid month off after 4 years & every 2 years thereafter • Regular team events and off-sites • Remote-first with no required commute Learn how we think and work • A story about our mission: Read Me • How we work: Designing remote work at Linear • Our CEO and co-founder, Karri at 20VC: How to Grow Capital Efficiently in a World of BS Growth • Building our teams: Why and how we do work trials at Linear • A video series: Conversations on Quality • Read about our recent Series C Fundraise and Giving our team liquidity Linear is an equal opportunity employer.
