Director, Simulation Product Management
HQI 89
US, CA, Santa Clara3d ago
NVIDIA has been transforming autonomous vehicle development for more than a decade—and today, simulation is the engine at the heart of it all. As the world races toward Level 4 autonomy, the ability to reconstruct real-world driving scenes, generate infinite synthetic scenarios, and validate AV policies across millions of virtual miles before a single vehicle touches the road has become the defining competitive advantage. NVIDIA is building the full stack that makes this possible: from NuRec neural reconstruction and Cosmos world foundation models to AlpaSim closed-loop evaluation and the Alpamayo ecosystem. Doing what's never been done before takes vision, innovation, and the world's best talent. As an NVIDIAN, you'll be immersed in a diverse, supportive environment where everyone is inspired to do their best work. Want to make a difference? Come join our team and see how you can make a lasting impact on the world! As the Director of Simulation Product Management, you will own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for NVIDIA's autonomous driving simulation platform. You will be the connective force between research, engineering, go-to-market, and our OEM and AV developer customers—shaping how the industry uses NVIDIA's simulation technology to reconstruct real-world driving data, generate safety-critical synthetic scenarios, and close the loop between AV policy training and real-world deployment. This role demands deep fluency in AV simulation workflows, sharp product instincts, and the leadership presence to align a world-class organization behind a clear and ambitious roadmap. What You'll Be Doing: Define and own the long-term product vision and roadmap for NVIDIA's AV simulation platform—spanning neural reconstruction (NuRec), generative simulation (Cosmos Sim), synthetic data generation (Cosmos Transfer) data curation (Cosmos Curator and Dataset Search), and closed-loop policy evaluation (AlpaSim). Drive end-to-end product lifecycle from requirements definition through engineering execution and customer adoption, ensuring NVIDIA's simulation tools are the standard for AV development at scale. Build deep partnerships with OEMs, robotaxi operators, and AV software developers to understand their simulation pipelines, surface unmet needs, and co-develop platform capabilities that directly accelerate their path to safe deployment. Partner closely with research and engineering teams to translate fleet data workflows, sensor modeling requirements, and policy evaluation needs into well-scoped, executable product requirements. Establish and track key product and ecosystem metrics—scenario coverage, reconstruction fidelity, closed-loop evaluation throughput, and customer adoption—and use them to guide prioritization and communicate progress to executive leadership. Collaborate with go-to-market, developer relations, and solutions engineering to drive platform adoption, shape developer programs, and articulate the value of NVIDIA's simulation stack versus competing approaches. Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Product Managers focused on AV simulation, establishing best practices and raising the bar for PM excellence across the organization. Represent NVIDIA's simulation vision at industry events, safety and standards forums, and executive briefings—communicating the technical depth and strategic importance of simulation to both engineering and business audiences. What We Need to See: 12+ overall years of product management experience, with a strong track record of delivering complex technical platform products at scale. 4+ years in a senior or director-level PM role, with demonstrated experience leading and growing high-performing PM teams. Deep understanding of autonomous driving development workflows—including sensor data pipelines, closed-loop simulation, synthetic data generation, and safety validation methodologies. Hands-on familiarity with neural reconstruction, 3D Gaussian Splatting, or sensor simulation techniques, with the technical depth to engage credibly with research and engineering teams. Demonstrated ability to build multi-year product strategy in a fast-moving, high-ambiguity environment, and to drive cross-functional execution against that strategy. Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to influence and align across engineering, research, business development, and external partners. Experience building developer or enterprise platform products, with a clear understanding of how to grow adoption through APIs, SDKs, and open ecosystems. BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience. Ways to Stand Out from the Crowd: Direct experience owning or contributing to a simulation platform at an AV company, OEM, or AV software developer—ideally across the full stack from scene reconstruction to closed-loop evaluation. Working knowledge of NVIDIA's AV simulation ecosystem, including NuRec, Cosmos, AlpaSim, or the Alpamayo model family. Familiarity with sim-to-real transfer challenges and the techniques—domain randomization, neural rendering, real-to-sim pipelines—used to close the gap between simulation and physical deployment. Experience with reinforcement learning workflows in simulation, including policy post-training and closed-loop RL frameworks such as AlpaGym. A track record of building developer ecosystems around simulation or physical AI platforms, including open-source programs, partner integrations, and community-driven adoption. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 272,000 USD - 425,500 USD. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. Applications for this job will be accepted at least until October 5, 2026. This posting is for an existing vacancy. NVIDIA uses AI tools in its recruiting processes. NVIDIA is committed to fostering an inclusive work environment and proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We support a wide range of digital payments choices, making transactions secure, simple, smart and accessible. Our technology and innovation, partnerships and networks combine to deliver a unique set of products and services that help people, businesses and governments realize their greatest potential. Title and Summary Director, Product Management, Developer Experience About Mastercard Developers Mastercard Developers is the single entry point for Mastercard partners to access a diverse range of payment, data, loyalty, and security APIs. Our team is responsible for delivering an experience that ensures developers can quickly find the right API, assess its technical capabilities, and integrate it into new and innovative solutions. The Role We're looking for a Senior PM to drive product strategy for Mastercard's developer platform in the AI era. This means owning our agentic developer tooling, shaping how we show up in AI-powered search and discovery, and building the commercial motion for a distribution channel that doesn't have a playbook yet. The work is early-stage and cross-functional. You'll operate across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales to turn bets into programs with clear owners, measurable outcomes, and momentum. This is as much about defining what we build as it is about shipping it. What You'll Work On - Define the product roadmap for Mastercard's agentic developer tooling: agent skills, MCP servers, CLI tooling, and the standard for what "agent-ready" means across our API catalog. - Partner with Strategy and Product teams across Mastercard to define our position in the agentic channel. Map our API catalog against agentic use cases, align on priorities, and build a shared commercial motion. - Represent Developer Experience in cross-functional GTM conversations. Bring the developer and API perspective into discussions about packaging, pricing, and distribution for the agentic channel. - Align stakeholders across Product, Sales, and Marketing around a shared commercialization hypothesis, then test it with a small number of design partners. - Set success metrics for each initiative and put the reporting structures in place to track them. What We're Looking For - Experienced in product development, with meaningful time on developer platforms, API products, or developer tooling. Someone who has built alongside engineers, not just managed the surface. - Fluent in the AI tooling ecosystem. You understand how developers use AI coding assistants today and have a point of view on where that's going. - GTM experience is a plus. If you've worked with Sales or Marketing to bring a technical product to market, that context will help you in this role. - Ability to operate in ambiguity and build from 0→1 - Clear communicator across audiences. You can write a tight strategy doc, run a stakeholder alignment meeting, and give an exec briefing without losing the thread between them. Corporate Security Responsibility All activities involving access to Mastercard assets, information, and networks comes with an inherent risk to the organization and, therefore, it is expected that every person working for, or on behalf of, Mastercard is responsible for information security and must: • Abide by Mastercard’s security policies and practices; • Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed; • Report any suspected information security violation or breach, and • Complete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard’s guidelines.

Director of Product Management
HQI 91
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States3d ago
Mission Summary: Reporting to the VP, Commercialization, the Director of Product Management will serve as the strategic leader for Motional’s product team and lead the design and execution of product vision and design to ensure every rider has the best rider experience possible. Working closely with executive and senior leaders and a team of product managers, you will build out our product vision and oversee the design of our entire AV system of systems. You will incorporate feedback from riders, executives, shareholders and customers and leverage these insights to ensure we are providing the best possible experience with a sustainable business mindset. This includes aligning roadmaps and products across Autonomy, Engineering, Operations, Mission Support, and Commercial teams. This is a pivotal time to join Motional because we are at a historic stage of transitioning from developing an autonomous vehicle to deploying and operating a commercial driverless service. As we transition from development to deployment in Las Vegas in 2026, we are setting the stage to scale our technology globally. This role requires a visionary product leader who can zoom out to build a cohesive Motional point of view on the product experience, while zooming in to untangle complex technical dependencies between hardware, AI, and operations. You will ultimately lead our product teams, establishing a high-velocity development loop that ensures every release is safer, more performant, and more commercially viable than the last and our tools develop and scale for growth. This role will be expected to travel up to 50% of the time depending on the business purpose and product deliverables. What you'll be doing: Build and Lead the Product Organization: Attract, hire, and inspire a small and mighty world-class team of Product Managers. You will establish a product culture focused on analytical rigor, cross-functional collaboration, and high-quality execution. Define the Motional Product POV: Lead the development of a unified product vision that spans the entire rider journey and technical stack on and off the AV. You will consolidate disparate roadmaps into a single, unified strategy for Motional’s robotaxi service. You have expertise at managing all aspects of the product life-cycle, from conceptualization to market introduction and production, and product dimensions including technical, commercial/business, financial, legal and legislative. Establish Prioritization Frameworks: Create and enforce rigorous, data-driven frameworks to balance competing priorities across Engineering, Fleet Operations, and Commercial teams. You will make the hard trade-offs between technical capability, system complexity, and time-to-market. Catalyze Autonomous Performance & Developer Velocity: Oversee the product strategy for our underlying autonomy tools and data pipelines. Partner deeply with leads to identify workflow bottlenecks, improve strategies, and ensure engineering teams can rapidly iterate on performance. Orchestrate Hardware & Software Synergy: Own the feedback loop between the in-vehicle experience, the physical fleet, and the backend software. Ensure the product roadmap maximizes the capabilities of our vehicle platform and scales effectively for daily operations. Influence and support the current and future generation platforms with OEMs, help execute commercial and go-to-market strategies for expansion and prepare for growth. Lead Strategic Internal Collaborations: Establish the product organization's "rhythm of business," including roadmap reviews, resource allocation meetings, and executive briefings. You will act as the primary operational bridge aligning internal technical execution with external commercial obligations. Customer and Partner Obsession : You will collaborate to define the integration scope and milestones with partners. Your team will own the technical customer-facing aspects of our integrations with ride-hail partners and owners and operators, ensuring a seamless and successful partnership. Define Success & Track KPIs: Define what "winning" looks like across Safety, Progress, and Comfort. Track and report on key performance indicators, ensuring our engineering velocity translates directly into measurable improvements in the Operational Design Domain (ODD) and rider experience. What we're looking for: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent field, or commensurate professional experience. 10+ years relevant professional experience in Product Management, with a minimum of 5+ years leading product teams within Autonomous Vehicles, Ride-Hail, robotics, or complex AI/ML industries. Systems-Level Thinking: You have a proven ability to unify fragmented workflows and consolidate disparate product strategies into a single cohesive vision. Technical Authority: Deep foundational understanding of the ML development lifecycle, data curation, and autonomous systems. You can hold your own in architecture reviews and engage with engineers on data pipelines and algorithmic requirements. Cross-Functional Leadership: You possess a proven track record of orchestrating complex projects across highly technical and non-technical teams, translating commercial needs into clear directives for Autonomy and Operations. Executive Presence: You possess superb communication skills and can command a room. You are experienced in leading executive presentations, strategy discussions, and high-visibility roadmap reviews with polish and professionalism. Strategic & Operational Balance: You can set the multi-year vision for the product while also sweating the details of short-term technical execution and developer efficiency. Interpersonal Savvy: Soft skills that earn the confidence of leaders and peers, including empathy, organization, clear communication, influencing without authority, low ego, and the ability to build trust. Bonus points (preferred, not required): Ecosystem Experience: Direct experience building and scaling product organizations at a leading Level 4 autonomous vehicle or advanced robotics company. Commercial Launch and Scale Experience: Experience coordinating the commercial side of a complex, physical-world product launch in a new market and scale. This role is based in our Pittsburgh office and requires in-office days each week. #LI-AM1 The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors including but not limited to specific skills, experience and expertise, role location, certifications, licenses, and business needs. Who We Are Verkada is transforming how organizations protect their people and places with an integrated, privacy-sensitive AI-powered platform that includes solutions for video security, access control, air quality sensors, alarms, intercoms, and visitor management. We’ve got serious momentum in the market: more than 30,000 customers (including 100+ of the Fortune 500), a $5.8B valuation , more than $1 billion in annualized bookings, and backing from CapitalG, Sequoia Capital, General Catalyst, Felicis Ventures, Next47 and more. Physical AI is one of the most consequential technology shifts of our time, and Verkada is at the center of it. You can look at all kinds of communities to see our platform’s impact in the world. It's the retailer that uses our agentic AI to deter theft before it happens. The warehouse that uses AI-powered alerts to make sure its team is protected on the floor with proper PPE. The school that’s alerted to a threat in real-time and triggers a lockdown in seconds, not minutes. We’re rapidly scaling this impact: today, more than 2 million Verkada devices are deployed across 170+ countries. About the Role This role leads the Business Systems Product team in the CIO organization. Verkada runs on four value streams — Quote-to-Cash, Attract-to-Hire-to-Retire, Procure-to-Pay, and Record-to-Report. The systems behind them decide how fast the company can sell, hire, source, ship, and close the books. You own the product functions across them. The portfolio spans both sides of the company. Some of these systems face partners and customers, where the experience is part of how Verkada competes and where the ambition is to be the easiest company in the industry to do business with. Others face employees, where the experience drives how the company scales. The bar is the same on both sides: systems people choose to use, intuitive enough to need almost no training, and scalable so overall company growth exceeds the rate of headcount growth. Your team is organized by the functions it serves: Partner Ecosystem (Partner Portal and vStore), Finance, Supply Chain & Operations, Legal, and People. Each product manager owns the systems roadmap for their function and acts as the product counterpart to that function's leadership. You own the whole — including the parts that only work when someone connects them. A partner order has to land cleanly in NetSuite. A headcount plan has to reconcile between Workday and the financial model. This is a fully onsite role in our San Mateo HQ What You'll Do • Build streamlined features for pricing configurations, automated approvals, checkout, payments, and fund requests (MDF/JSF) to enable partners to operate without manual intervention. • Recruit and coach 6–10 PMs to write strong requirements, manage roadmaps, and serve as strategic partners to business leaders. • Drive product strategy, architecture, and roadmap for all enterprise business systems to support scalable, public-company growth. Lead a team of 6–10 PMs and analysts across key operational domains. • Define the systems roadmap, lead make-vs-buy decisions, manage total cost of ownership (TCO), and establish a standardized intake process for all business requests. • Partner Ecosystem & vStore: Build and scale self-service portal for quoting, deal registration, order management, and billing. • Finance: Oversee NetSuite order-to-cash and financial close systems. • Supply Chain: Manage inventory, order processing, logistics, and contract manufacturer integrations. • Legal & People: Automate employee lifecycle systems and identity/access provisioning. • Build SOX-ready controls, auditability, and data warehouse integrations to public-company standards. What You Bring • Bachelor's degree in MIS, CS, Finance, Business, or another technical/analytical field. • 10+ years in product management, business systems, or a related technical role, including 3+ years leading product managers. Experience managing managers is a plus. • Track record owning enterprise systems end to end across more than one business function, accountable for the outcome rather than the delivery alone. • Experience across both external-facing and internal-facing systems, and a clear point of view on why the quality bar should be the same for both. • Experience designing for multiple personas on a shared surface, where a seller, an admin, and a finance user all need the product to work without it becoming a compromise for all three. • Depth in at least two of: quote-to-cash, record-to-report, procure-to-pay, supply chain planning and fulfillment, or the employee lifecycle — with credible curiosity about the rest. • Hands-on experience with Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, or comparable platforms, and with the integration patterns that connect them. • Basic SQL, Python, JavaScript and HTML. You should be able to interrogate the data yourself. • Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and experience partnering with design. You can review a wireframe and tell the difference between a workflow that gets adopted and one that gets worked around. • Experience preparing and delivering to executive leadership, including defending a roadmap and a make-versus-buy recommendation. • An ideal candidate handles ambiguity, moves fast, and builds alignment across a demanding stakeholder group — keeping leadership informed and bought in along the way. Employee Benefits Verkada is committed to fostering a workplace environment that prioritizes the holistic health and wellbeing of our employees and their families by offering comprehensive wellness perks, benefits, and resources. Our benefits and perks programs include, but are not limited to: • Healthcare programs that can be tailored to meet the personal health and financial well-being needs - Premiums are 100% covered for the employee under at least one plan and 80% for family premiums under all plans • Nationwide medical, vision and dental coverage • Health Saving Account (HSA) with annual employer contributions and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) with tax saving options • Expanded mental health support • Paid parental leave policy & fertility benefits • Time off to relax and recharge through our paid holidays, firmwide extended holidays, flexible PTO and personal sick time • Professional development stipend • Wellness/fitness benefits • Healthy lunches provided daily • Commuter benefits Additional Information • We do sponsor and take over sponsorship of employment visas for this role. If we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa. Annual Pay Range At Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate's skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of restricted stock units (RSUs) Below is the annual on-target earnings (OTE) range for full-time employees for this position, comprised of base compensation and commissions (if applicable). Estimated Annual Pay Range $220,000 — $310,000 USD Verkada Is An Equal Opportunity Employer As an equal opportunity employer, Verkada is committed to providing employment opportunities to all individuals. All applicants for positions at Verkada will be treated without regard to race, color, ethnicity, religion, sex, gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, age, marital status, veteran status, pregnancy, or any other basis prohibited by applicable law.
