At ServiceNow, we put AI to work for people. IT operations is where that matters most. When services slow down or fail, everyone feels it. Our IT Operations Management (ITOM) and AIOps portfolio helps organisations see their whole IT estate, predict issues before they reach users, and resolve them automatically. It sits at the heart of our Autonomous IT story. Our UK & Ireland Specialist Presales Solution Consulting organisation is going through a significant evolution. We’re bringing separate specialist teams together into one organisation with one way of working: one front door for requests, deployment based on deal criteria rather than availability, and a shared set of measures across every domain. We’re doing it because customers buy the platform, not individual products, and our specialists need to show up as one team. We’re looking for a Senior Manager to lead our ITOM and AIOps presales specialists through this change. This is a quota-carrying sales leadership role and a first-line people leadership role in equal measure. You’ll build a high-performing team, bring them with you through a new operating model, and make sure their expertise reaches the deals and customers where it makes the biggest difference. How you’ll work with sales Your team brings specialist depth when an opportunity needs it, and you share accountability for the result. In practice, that means: Partnering with the Solution Consulting Directors in each core industry area: Enterprise Industries, Financial Services, Public Sector, Energy Telco & Media, and Ireland. Together you’ll agree which accounts and opportunities to prioritise, how specialists get engaged and how you’ll measure impact. Running a criteria-based engagement model. Requests come through a single front door, self-service assets are offered first where they fit, and specialist time goes to the opportunities with the highest stage, value and complexity. Building capability across the Core SC community so they can lead standard ITOM conversations and demos with confidence, spot when a specialist is needed, and bring your team in early. Creating pipeline with the regions through specialist-led activities such as hands-on workshops, customer connect sessions and value labs, rather than waiting for opportunities to arrive. You’ll succeed through influence, not reporting lines. Comfort with matrix management is essential. What you get to do in this role Lead and grow a high-performing team Recruit, coach and develop a team of ITOM and AIOps specialists, growing experienced and emerging talent alike. Set clear expectations, run consistent operational and team cadences, and hold the team to a high standard for customer impact and follow-through. Build belonging and momentum in a team that’s adapting to a new way of working. Develop specialists into T-shaped consultants: deep in ITOM and AIOps, and fluent in how IT operations connects to asset management, security, risk and data across the platform. Champion the change Actively support and help the Specialist Solution Consulting operating model. Translate it for your team, raise concerns early and model the behaviours you expect. Establish consistent rules of engagement with Core SC, Account Executives and partners. Be data driven using data to support business execution and change Win deals and drive consumption Lead from the front on strategic opportunities, owning the technical win for ITOM and AIOps alongside Core SC and sales. Shape cross-domain, platform-level solutions with specialist peers in asset management, Risk & Security, Employee Workflows and Data & AI. Make the CMDB a strength in every customer conversation. It’s the foundation of the ServiceNow platform, and your team brings the deepest expertise in the discovery and service mapping that keep it accurate. Partner with our Customer Excellence Group to help customers adopt and get value from capabilities they already own. Enable and influence Own the ITOM and AIOps contribution to UK & Ireland SC enablement, from Level 100 for every Core SC to Level 200 champion tracks. Ensure your team is operating at Expert Level 300. Track record of building and maintaining reusable assets: demos, use cases, discovery guides and points of view. Develop industry points of view on IT operations, and represent ServiceNow at customer, partner and industry events. Work closely with EMEA ITOM peers, product management, partners and enterprise architects. How you’ll be measured This is a sales role. You’ll carry a quota for ITOM and AIOps across the UK & Ireland, alongside the shared specialist measures that every domain uses. Quota attainment Revenue delivered for ITOM and AIOps across the UK & Ireland Tech-win conversion How often specialist engagement turns into a technical win Specialist-sourced pipeline New pipeline your team creates with the regions Consumption uplift Customers getting more value from what they already own Team capacity How well specialist time goes to the deals that matter most   To be successful in this role you have: Experience and leadership (essential) 10+ years in IT operations, pre-sales, solution engineering or technical consulting, ideally in enterprise software. 5+ years leading pre-sales or technical teams as a people manager. A consistent track record of attaining and exceeding quota in a technical sales leadership role, including managing complex sales cycles from start to finish. Proven track record of change management execution. Experience in a matrix organisation, influencing senior peers and sales leaders without direct authority. Strong coaching and talent development skills, including hiring and succession planning. Confidence presenting to and advising senior IT leaders such as C-suite, Heads of IT Operations and Heads of Infrastructure. IT operations expertise (essential) A deep, practical understanding of modern IT operations, including: Observability and monitoring, including event, metric and log correlation. AIOps: noise reduction, anomaly detection and predictive operations. Discovery, service mapping and configuration management (CMDB). Incident, problem and change practices, with ITIL 4 or equivalent. Site reliability engineering and service reliability concepts. Hybrid and multi-cloud operations, and IT automation. The ability to connect operational capability to business outcomes: availability, cost, risk and user experience. ServiceNow experience (desirable, not essential) Hands-on or pre-sales experience with ServiceNow ITOM, such as Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, AIOps, Service Reliability Management, CMDB and CSDM, and Digital End-User Experience. ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator, or Certified Implementation Specialist in Discovery, Service Mapping or Event Management. If you’ve done this on another observability, monitoring or IT operations platform, we want to hear from you. Ways of working A data-driven approach to running a team and a pipeline. Curiosity about AI and agentic operations, and the ability to explain them simply. Willingness to travel up to 40% across the UK and Ireland.   Work Personas We approach our distributed world of work with flexibility and trust. In practice, that means: - Partnering with the Solution Consulting Directors in each core industry area: Enterprise Industries, Financial Services, Public Sector, Energy Telco & Media, and Ireland. Together you'll agree which accounts and opportunities to prioritise, how specialists get engaged and how you'll measure impact. - Running a criteria-based engagement model. Requests come through a single front door, self-service assets are offered first where they fit, and specialist time goes to the opportunities with the highest stage, value and complexity. - Building capability across the Core SC community so they can lead standard ITOM conversations and demos with confidence, spot when a specialist is needed, and bring your team in early. - Creating pipeline with the regions through specialist-led activities such as hands-on workshops, customer connect sessions and value labs, rather than waiting for opportunities to arrive. You'll succeed through influence, not reporting lines. Comfort with matrix management is essential. ### What you get to do in this role **Lead and grow a high-performing team** - Recruit, coach and develop a team of ITOM and AIOps specialists, growing experienced and emerging talent alike. - Set clear expectations, run consistent operational and team cadences, and hold the team to a high standard for customer impact and follow-through. - Build belonging and momentum in a team that's adapting to a new way of working. - Develop specialists into T-shaped consultants: deep in ITOM and AIOps, and fluent in how IT operations connects to asset management, security, risk and data across the platform. **Champion the change** - Actively support and help the Specialist Solution Consulting operating model. Translate it for your team, raise concerns early and model the behaviours you expect. - Establish consistent rules of engagement with Core SC, Account Executives and partners. - Be data driven using data to support business execution and change **Win deals and drive consumption** - Lead from the front on strategic opportunities, owning the technical win for ITOM and AIOps alongside Core SC and sales. - Shape cross-domain, platform-level solutions with specialist peers in asset management, Risk & Security, Employee Workflows and Data & AI. - Make the CMDB a strength in every customer conversation. It's the foundation of the ServiceNow platform, and your team brings the deepest expertise in the discovery and service mapping that keep it accurate. - Partner with our Customer Excellence Group to help customers adopt and get value from capabilities they already own. **Enable and influence** - Own the ITOM and AIOps contribution to UK & Ireland SC enablement, from Level 100 for every Core SC to Level 200 champion tracks. Ensure your team is operating at Expert Level 300. - Track record of building and maintaining reusable assets: demos, use cases, discovery guides and points of view. - Develop industry points of view on IT operations, and represent ServiceNow at customer, partner and industry events. - Work closely with EMEA ITOM peers, product management, partners and enterprise architects. ### How you'll be measured This is a sales role. You'll carry a quota for ITOM and AIOps across the UK & Ireland, alongside the shared specialist measures that every domain uses. - **Quota attainment**: Revenue delivered for ITOM and AIOps across the UK & Ireland - **Tech-win conversion**: How often specialist engagement turns into a technical win - **Specialist-sourced pipeline**: New pipeline your team creates with the regions - **Consumption uplift**: Customers getting more value from what they already own - **Team capacity**: How well specialist time goes to the deals that matter most ## Qualifications To be successful in this role you have: ### Experience and leadership (essential) - 10+ years in IT operations, pre-sales, solution engineering or technical consulting, ideally in enterprise software. - 5+ years leading pre-sales or technical teams as a people manager. - A consistent track record of attaining and exceeding quota in a technical sales leadership role, including managing complex sales cycles from start to finish. - Proven track record of change management execution. - Experience in a matrix organisation, influencing senior peers and sales leaders without direct authority. - Strong coaching and talent development skills, including hiring and succession planning. - Confidence presenting to and advising senior IT leaders such as C-suite, Heads of IT Operations and Heads of Infrastructure. ### IT operations expertise (essential) A deep, practical understanding of modern IT operations, including: - Observability and monitoring, including event, metric and log correlation. - AIOps: noise reduction, anomaly detection and predictive operations. - Discovery, service mapping and configuration management (CMDB). - Incident, problem and change practices, with ITIL 4 or equivalent. - Site reliability engineering and service reliability concepts. - Hybrid and multi-cloud operations, and IT automation. - The ability to connect operational capability to business outcomes: availability, cost, risk and user experience. ### ServiceNow experience (desirable, not essential) - Hands-on or pre-sales experience with ServiceNow ITOM, such as Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, AIOps, Service Reliability Management, CMDB and CSDM, and Digital End-User Experience. - ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator, or Certified Implementation Specialist in Discovery, Service Mapping or Event Management. If you've done this on another observability, monitoring or IT operations platform, we want to hear from you. ### Ways of working - A data-driven approach to running a team and a pipeline. - Curiosity about AI and agentic operations, and the ability to explain them simply. - Willingness to travel up to 40% across the UK and Ireland. ## Additional Information **Work Personas** We approach our distributed world of work with flexibility and trust. What you get to do in this role: **LOCATION OF ROLE: IN ANY OF OUR MAJOR EU HUBS** As the AVP, EMEA CRM Solution Consulting, you own the pre-sales technical engine behind one of ServiceNow's fastest-growing bets: CRM. You will lead a multi-layer organization of first- and second-line Solution Consulting leaders and their teams across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), directly accountable for the Net New Annual Contract Value (NNACV) that CRM delivers. This team is approx. 70 ICs and 14 managers. This is an execution role at heart. Your mandate is to convert ServiceNow's next-generation, AI-native CRM vision into consistent, repeatable pre-sales motions that win—at speed and at scale.  You will re-establish a tight connection between the field and CRM product, build the next generation of pre-sales talent around the Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) model, and lead the shift from a demo-centric to a proof-of-value (POV) centric go-to-market motion. Above all, you will drive speed, simplification, and clarity—scaling the organization through AI automation and operating as a single, unified engine of execution alongside your CRM selling peers.  What you'll do…  Own the number – drive CRM NNACV growth  Carry direct accountability for EMEA CRM NNACV targets and mobilize the Solution Consulting organization to achieve and exceed double-digit ACV growth.  Translate the number into clear team-level and individual pre-sales motions; forecast technical win rates and remove the blockers that slow deals.  Partner with CRM sales leadership to prioritize the opportunities, use cases, and industries where CRM wins fastest across the region.  Build the next-generation pre-sales organization (FDE model)  Lead and grow the next generation of pre-sales talent, evolving the Solution Consultant role toward the Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) model—technical leaders who build alongside customers rather than present to them.  Participate in and accelerate the transition from a demo-centric to a POV-centric pre-sales GTM motion, making working proof-of-value the default way CRM earns technical trust.  Recruit, develop, and retain elite technical talent, and build a bench of first- and second-line leaders ready for scale.  Champion AI and the future of CRM  Understand and guide the market's intense focus on AI alongside the world's demand for a next-generation CRM, positioning ServiceNow's AI-native CRM as the answer.  Keep the organization fluent in agentic AI, Now Assist for CRM, and the platform capabilities that differentiate ServiceNow from legacy CRM incumbents.  Bring an outside-in view of where CRM and AI are heading into product, GTM, and enablement decisions.  Scale through automation – speed, simplification, and clarity  Drive a passionate, relentless emphasis on using AI automation tools to scale the pre-sales organization—doing more through focus, not headcount.  Simplify how the team works: fewer and better assets, standardized POV frameworks, and automated demo and environment provisioning.  Make speed, simplification, and clarity the operating standard for every motion the team runs.  Reconnect the field to CRM product  Re-establish a strong, two-way connection between EMEA Solution Consulting and CRM Product Management so that field insight shapes the roadmap and product direction reaches the field fast.  Serve as a trusted voice of the customer, channeling technical wins, losses, and gaps into product priorities.  Ensure the team consistently represents the current, differentiated CRM story—not the last generation's.  Lead with consistent motions, clear messaging, and accountability  Drive first- and second-line leaders to clear, consistent messaging and visible leadership accountability across the organization.  Establish consistent motions and communication rhythms so every team runs the same plays to the same standard.  Motivate the team and the broader CRM community to rally around shared, ambitious growth targets.  Operate as a single engine of execution  Work with CRM selling peers—sales, product, value, and partner leaders—as one integrated engine of execution, not adjacent functions.  Align pre-sales strategy, coverage, and investment with the broader CRM go-to-market plan.  Represent EMEA CRM Solution Consulting in cross-functional and global forums, ensuring consistency across countries and sub-regions.  To be successful in this role you have: Extensive experience leading pre-sales, solution consulting, or technical sales organizations at scale, including leading other leaders (managing managers).  10+ years in leadership role in Solution Consulting domain  A consistent record of owning and delivering against ACV / NNACV or equivalent revenue-tied targets in a software or SaaS environment.  Experience leading distributed, multi-country teams across the EMEA region and operating effectively across cultures, languages, and time zones.  Deep understanding of the CRM market and the disruption that AI and agentic automation are bringing to it.  Fluency with AI and automation tools and a demonstrated bias toward using them to scale teams and simplify how work gets done.  Experience evolving pre-sales motions—especially moving teams from demo-centric to POV / proof-of-value-centric selling.  Exceptional communication and executive presence, with the ability to set clear messaging and hold leaders accountable to it.  Strong cross-functional operating skills and a track record of aligning sales, product, and pre-sales into a single execution engine.  A talent magnet who can recruit, develop, and retain top technical leaders and individual contributors.  Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field, or equivalent work experience.  Expected to travel up to 50% of the time on average.  Work Personas We approach our distributed world of work with flexibility and trust. ServiceNow is the fastest growing enterprise cloud software company in the world, and we believe it's the great people we hire who will keep us there. We hire carefully, we hire the best, we celebrate our people. Come join our Sales team.  We're looking for a driven Senior Account Executive to join our Commercial Growth team, covering UK Private Sector accounts of 700 to 2,000 employees. You'll own a portfolio of accounts, responsible for both winning new logos and growing our footprint within existing customers. You'll build and execute account strategies that align ServiceNow's platform to each customer's business priorities, working closely with Solution Consultants, Customer Success, Partner Account Managers, and BDRs to build and progress pipeline. This role reports into the Senior Sales Manager, Commercial UK.  What you get to do in this role:  Meet or exceed sales targets across your UK Commercial territory.  Own and grow a portfolio of UK Private Sector accounts (700–2,000 employees), driving both net-new logo acquisition and expansion within existing customers.  Build and execute account strategies, aligning ServiceNow solutions and use cases to each customer's business initiatives.  Generate self-sourced pipeline, while also leveraging partner and BDR-sourced pipeline to build a healthy, diversified funnel.  Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close, following ServiceNow's value-selling methodology.  Build genuine working relationships with partners to jointly source and progress opportunities.  Collaborate with an extended team — Solution Consultants, Customer Success, Partner Account Managers, and BDRs — to progress deals and deliver customer value.  Provide accurate and timely forecasting, territory plans, and account strategies to management.  Represent ServiceNow's value proposition credibly to senior stakeholders, up to VP and C-level.  Mentor and support colleagues, contributing to the wider success of the team.  Occasional travel for training and/or meetings may be required. ServiceNowHQI 83

Company Description It all started in sunny San Diego, California in 2004 when a visionary engineer, Fred Luddy, saw the potential to transform how we work. Fast forward to today — ServiceNow stands as a global market leader, bringing innovative AI-enhanced technology to over 8,100 customers, including 85% of the Fortune 500®. Our intelligent cloud-based platform seamlessly connects people, systems, and processes to empower organizations to find smarter, faster, and better ways to work. But this is just the beginning of our journey. Join us as we pursue our purpose to make the world work better for everyone. Why This Role Matters You will lead one of  ServiceNow’s fastest-growing markets — and this team will be at the center of that momentum. You’ll shape how we go to market, how we sell value, and how we build the next generation of Solution Consulting talent. Job Description As the Director, UKI CRM Solution Consulting, you run the day-to-day pre-sales engine for CRM across the UK, Ireland, and Scotland. You lead first-line Solution Consulting managers and their individual contributors, and you are the leader closest to the deals. You know what each team is working on, what is landing with customers, and what is stalling. Your job is to remove the blockers, keep the team focused and motivated, and make sure Solution Consulting moves in step with its CRM selling peers. This is an execution role at heart: you make the engine go fast. You report to the AVP, EMEA CRM Solution Consulting, who sets regional strategy and direction. What you'll do... Own the number -- deliver CRM NNACV for UKI • Carry accountability, with your first-line managers, for UKI CRM NNACV targets and contribute to the EMEA goal of double-digit ACV growth. • Forecast technical win rates and deal-by-deal readiness, and raise risk to the AVP early rather than late. • Work with UKI CRM sales leaders to focus Solution Consulting time on the opportunities, use cases, and industries where CRM wins fastest. Know the deals on the ground • Maintain a detailed, current view of what each team is working on: active opportunities, technical stage, proof-of-value status, and next steps. • Know what is working and what is not, and act on it in the weekly deal and pipeline rhythms rather than in a quarterly review. • Join key customer, POV, and escalation discussions where technical credibility or senior air cover is needed. Remove blockers and keep the team focused • Be the first escalation point for anything that slows a deal: environment access, resourcing conflicts, unclear scope, product gaps, or competing demands. • Protect the team's time by clearing distractions, cutting low-value requests, and making sure ICs spend their time on the deals that matter most. • Make sure every IC knows what good looks like on their deals and has what they need to deliver it. Lead and develop first-line leaders and ICs • Coach first-line managers on deal reviews, technical strategy, and POV execution, and hold them to consistent motions and communication rhythms. • Recruit, develop, and retain strong technical talent, and build a bench of ready-now first-line leaders. • Give direct, regular feedback to ICs and managers, and address performance issues early. Keep the team motivated and aligned to selling peers • Recognize wins visibly and often, and build a team rhythm that keeps morale and momentum high. • Run joint pipeline and deal reviews with CRM sales, value, partner, and product counterparts so Solution Consulting and selling teams operate as one engine. • Agree coverage, account plans, and proof strategy with the AEs before they reach the customer. Drive the shift to POV-centric selling and the FDE model • Make working proof-of-value the default way the team earns technical trust, and help ICs move toward the Forward Deployed Engineer model of building alongside customers. • Use AI automation tools and standard POV frameworks to speed up demos, environment provisioning, and repeatable assets. Connect the field to CRM product • Channel technical wins, losses, and product gaps from your team to the AVP and CRM product leaders, using specific, deal-level examples. Qualifications To be successful in this role you have: • 6+ years in a leadership role in Solution Consulting or a comparable pre-sales or technical sales function, including managing first-line leaders and individual contributors. • Still credible on the deals: you can scope a POV, work through an architecture question, or join a customer call without losing the thread. • A consistent record of owning and delivering against ACV / NNACV or equivalent revenue-tied targets in a software or SaaS environment. • Experience leading distributed teams across the UK, Ireland, and Scotland and operating effectively across cultures, languages, and time zones. • A working understanding of the CRM market and how AI and agentic automation are changing it. • Fluency with AI and automation tools and a bias toward using them to simplify how work gets done. • Experience moving a team from demo-centric to POV / proof-of-value-centric selling. • Clear, direct communication, and the ability to set a standard and hold first-line leaders to it. • Good operating judgement: knows when to escalate, when to decide, and when to get out of the way. • A talent-focused leader who can recruit, develop, and retain strong technical leaders and ICs. • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field, or equivalent work experience. • Expected to travel up to 40% of the time on average, including across the UK, Ireland, and Scotland.
