Canteen Chef - Soho House Amsterdam

We're looking for a passionate Canteen Chef to become the heart of our staff dining experience. This is a role for someone who genuinely loves cooking for people and takes pride in creating fresh, nutritious, and varied meals that fuel our teams throughout the day.

Unlike most hospitality kitchens, you'll have the opportunity to focus on creating meals that colleagues genuinely look forward to eating. If you believe staff meals should be every bit as thoughtful as guest meals, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll do

• Prepare and serve fresh, high-quality daily meals for our team members

• Create healthy, seasonal, and balanced menus with a variety of options

• Take ownership of the staff kitchen and food offering

• Maintain exceptional hygiene, food safety, and kitchen standards

• Manage stock, minimise waste, and ensure efficient kitchen operations

Your schedule

• Full-time position

• Primarily daytime shifts

• A mix of weekday and weekend shifts depending on business needs

• Flexibility during busy periods and special events

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Chef, Cook, or Chef de Partie in a professional kitchen

• Passion for cooking and creating great food for people

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of your kitchen

• Strong understanding of food quality, organisation, and sustainability

• Positive attitude and strong communication skills

• Fluent English; Dutch is a bonus
